Procedure
  A. Preparatory Activities

 
1. Motivation

Read each sentence carefully. Choose and write the correct answer. (Show the board)
 
a. My sister (do, does) paint pictures. (does)
b.(Do, Did) you attend the party yesterday? (Did)
c. (Do, Does) boys plays with dolls? (Do)
d. We (do, does) errands for our elders. (do)
e. He also (do, does) wash the car. (does)
 
 
2. Motivation

Group Recitation (5 seconds)
Encourage pupils to answer these questions. Teacher jots down the answers.
 
Listen to each question carefully. Answer with Yes or No
 
a. Does a wriggler come from a butterfly?
b. Did God create man on the 8th day?
c. Do all animals have feet?
d. Does the sun rotate around the earth?
e. Did Rizal write Noli Me Tangere?
 

3. Unlocking of Difficulties
 
Word Puzzle Game
Arrange the class into sub-groups. Give each group a cut-out word puzzle. The group assembles the puzzle using the clue given by the teacher. The first to assemble the puzzle correctly will get the points. The group with the highest number of points will be the winner.
