This resource will help your students identify the meaning of unfamiliar words through structural analysis (Separate or Open compound words)
A. Preparatory Activities
Materials: Paper with two columns
Method: The purpose of the game is to help children differentiate solid from hyphenated Compound words.
Tell the children that you are going to say compound word.
Let them write these words in the column where they belong.
